plates - clearing them & smashing them

We spent Christmas with my family in Newcastle. It was very lazy, being overfed, waited on hand and foot by my poor mum! I think I enjoyed Boxing Day better than Christmas Day - we all went to the coast. It was freezing cold, but this didn't deter us, nor anyone else, judging by how busy it was.

New Year was spent out with friends, Sharon, Andy, Toni and her son Elliott, at a Greek restaurant. I have to say it was possibly the nicest meal I had eaten out all year. We had copious amounts of alcohol, participated in the ubiquitous plate smashing and danced into the early hours. Of course New Year's Day wasn't quite as great, as I was as sick as a dog!
